Breaking Dawn Part 1

Breaking Dawn was immense and I am in awe of the superb job of director Bill Condon! I can't wait to see Part 2 next year! <3 Bella's wedding dress (or dresses - she has a dream about her wedding too) were both stunning. The first was a boobtube which had a jewel encrusted top and came flowing outwards and the second was a simple but stylish figure-clinging dress showing her perfect curves and body. Breathtakingly beautiful, Bella.

Congratulations Bill Condon: Amazing job, 10/10! The movie followed the story-line perfectly and you could see and feel the romantic and genuine connection between Edward and Bella/Robert and Kristen so well. Jacob and Bella's chemistry was clear too - they obviously have a good friendship off-screen too. I loved it when Jacob fell to his knees at the sight of Renesmee - so cute! I wined at the birth scene - poor Bella, being cut open in front of her own eyes, without anesthetic! Glad it ended on a happy note - great cliff-hanger! Thank you for making such a breathtaking film!

Paper Fashion

I have been off school because I have recently had a dental operation and am finding it hard to speak, eat and drink properly. So, while I was busying myself at home, I uncovered my old Paper Fashion Book by Klutz: 

And I decided to start making more creations! I created lots, back when I first got the book, and gave them to my relatives and friends - it was great fun. I did keep some for myself though...

3 Designs I Kept - aged about 10 years!

It's not a great photo, sorry! I was taking the photo on my webcam and the designs kept on slipping!

The set came with tiny hangers, different coloured/patterned paper and ribbons, sequins etc but unfortunately I only have 1 hanger left and no ribbons, sequins etc! I do have all the paper though and the stencils too so I can still make creations. (And I have loads of ribbons and sequins of my own, so that doesn't matter) but I am upset about those hangers! I used the last one on my most recent design...

And here it is - a big step from the first designs, I must say!

A Winter Design - aged 14 years!

I am quite proud of this design, it is quite complex and it was much more fiddly than I imagined/remembered! I really like the outfit - though the colours are more Summery for a Winter inspired outfit!

I am hoping I shall make more designs in the future! Does anyone else enjoy paper fashion? Since I loved it when I was 10 and still now, as a 14 year old, it just goes to show:

FASHION NEVER GROWS OLD!

Jack Wills - £20 Late Night Shopping Event

I love Jack Wills, even though it can be hideously over-priced! BTW, have you see the new £800 dress?!

I love their products and, since I want to become a fashion designer, take great care to notice what's hot and what's not. 

Anyway, I can't wait about the Jack Wills £20 Late Night Shopping Event coming up on 25th November (1 month till Christmas!) where you pay £20 to go late night shopping (7pm - 9pm) at your local Jack Wills store and get to experience an evening 'full of festive fun and treats'. At the end of the night you also get a goodie bag containing an 'exclusive scarf, party pants and mug'. My friends and I are definitely going and can't wait!
